Villa d’Este – night openings
Villa d’Este, masterpiece of the Italian Garden, is included in the UNESCO world heritage list. With its impressive concentration of fountains, nymphs, grottoes, plays of water, and music, it constitutes a much-copied model for European gardens in the mannerist and baroque styles.
It is situated in Tivoli, about 35 km from Rome and connected by bus and train.
The villa will be open to the public also at night every friday and saturday, from the 3rd of July to 13th of September 2009.
The night time visit hours are: from 8.30pm to 12.00pm (last entry at: 11.00pm).
There is a maximum of 2000 guests per night (including full price, reductions and free entry). After this amount no-one will be allowed into the villa.
For night time visits the price of the ticket is:10,00€ full price; 6,00€ reduced price.
