NOTTI ANIMATE – nights in motion
At Castel Sant’Angelo in July and August you will find a widespreading program of events.
Every evening, from 8,45 pm to 0,45 am (on Friday and Saturday to 1,45 am) more than 150 artists will perform involving the public non-stop shows and live performances, lasting about 30 minutes each; a new and excited way to enjoy the Roman Summer in the enchanted location of Castel Sant’Angelo, a monument rich of history and mistery.
• Folk Music: all the suggestions of traditional, ethnic and folk music (Cortile dell’Angelo)
• Cabaret shows: a lot of fun and laughters with original artists (Cortile della Balestra)
• Clowns and jugglers: entertainment not for kids only (Bastione San Marco)
Daily proposals are
• Roman handicraft at the Castle – organized by CNA of Rome (Cortile dell’Angelo, Cortile della Balestra)
• Corporate lounges: Interpan and Ovito (Bastione San Marco), Cetus Casa (Passetto entrance)
• Market exhibition: oil-micis and art & fashion workshops
• Restaurant (Bastione San Matteo), bar and ice-cream parlour (Giretto Scoperto)
• Angel Terrace: a breathtaking view of Rome
Extraordinary openings of the location of “Angels and Demons”
• Prisons: Renaissance terrible papal cells
• Passetto di Borgo: Secret passage connecting the Castle with the Vatican city
